Split article?Edit
To editor MethaneK: I totally agree that the section should be split into a new article. See Outer Northeast China as a related example of a separate page, as both were ceded to Russia as mentioned in the article Unequal treaty. Outer Northwest China is a historically distinct region and has little to do with the modern Northwest China except a partial similarity of names. --Geekdiva (talk) 13:23, 26 August 2016 (UTC)
